Kerry is a proud member of a military family and has lived in many different places throughout the years. However, since 2012, Kerry has resided in Blythewood, SC. Kerry is a graduate of Blythewood High School and will soon complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from Columbia College. Also, in the summer of 2023, Kerry became certified in the Orton-Gillingham approach, a therapeutic approach that specializes in working with individuals who have dyslexia.

After graduation, Kerry hopes to continue her educational journey by earning her masters degree in the field of Speech Language Pathology while also gaining clinical experience in the field through her work at Joy in the Journey!

During her time at Columbia College, Kerry received many awards for her academic achievements and community leadership contributions. Kerry is the proud recepient of the Columbia College Speech-Language Pathology Student of the Year Award and the Jennifer Mungo Student of the Year Award. Kerry served as the treasurer of Columbia College's National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is a member of the South Carolina Speech Language Hearing Association, where she is involved in the Student Advisory Council.

Kerry has fallen in love with helping people, working with children of all ages and abilities, and seeing the impact that Speech-Language Pathology has on their lives!

Fun fact: Kerry is a coffee lover, enjoys traveling, and meeting new people.
